Planet Mars entered his Rx (retrograde) zone in May 13th, 2018 in the sign of Capricorn.
He then turned retrograde on June 27th, 2018 in the sign of Aquarius.
On 28th of August, Mars turns Stationary Direct in Capricorn and
on October 9t, 2018 he leaves the Rx zone in the sign of Aquarius.

This is my take on Mars in the signs of Capricorn and Aquarius.
Brewing below the surface...
When Mars turns Rx, all subjects governed by the red planet somehow get a bit stalled.
For example we may come across (Mars) themes such as: frequent headaches, difficulties/injuries at sports, petty quarrels out of nowhere, iron deficiency problems in the blood, anger bursts out in unexpected and inappropriate ways, hostilities between nations/countries/armies/political parties, etc

Also, we might be seething in anger and the Rx period is a good time to turn inwards, do inner healing work and anger control checks, examine the source of our frustration etc. Usually it is not a good period to start something very dynamic with a "jump head-first" attitude. It is rather best to weigh the pros and cons of a venture, keep an eye on our opponent and competitors and do all the necessary inner work and preparations before launching your project(s) -- ideally after the end of the Rx period!
On a personal level, friendships, social contacts and unions will be influenced negatively. Everyone will set out to do what they want regardless of what the rest of the "group" thinks. Some will decide to cut ties with superficial, bubbly and clingy friends. Besides, friendships and all kinds of unions are the essential themes represented by Aquarius, the sign of justice, knowledge and genuine friendship.
On the cosmic (mundane) level we will be witnessing chaos in politics. Parting of ways, unions, reunions, reformations, rebellious behaviors, etc Trade unions, work unions, all kinds or unions and workers will stand up against injustice! We will see many people marching against authority and protesting against unfairly imposed, ruthless measures and tyrannical rulers.
It will be a spectacle worth watching and (why not?) participating in !
